Nothing funny about that "funny bone" injury. Sorry for your pain, I hope you have some good quilting shows on TV. You know, ball players who have Tommy John surgery usually come back stronger and I'm betting you will also. God bless.

I hope you are doing so much better. Quilting is my sanity keeper, my stress reliever. I can't imagine not being able to quilt.

In January I tipped over in my chair at the computer and broke my upper left arm, a long piece of metal and 8 screws and a month of therapy did the trick. We have to be thankful for the wonders of modern medicine. Even ten years ago you would have been out of business for the rest of you life. You will be up and at it in not time. Best wishes for a very speedy recovery.

I'm so sorry Marty. I hope you're not having a lot of pain with this. Try to see it as planning time and maybe it will pass quickly.

Enjoy your down time. I would use it for planning(quilt projects of course) and lots of reading. I truly believe there is a reason for everything and sometimes we just need to RELAX. I wish you a speedy recovery.

So sorry that happened to you many of us on the board have had some sort of injury lately. I dislocated and ripped my sholder and going to have shots in my sholder this week so I can start my new job.

Wrap yourself in your favorite quilt and read your favorite quilting books and magazines. You won't miss the quilting as much that way. So sorry about the accident. Hate it when that happens.
|
So sorry to hear about your fall. I know all about quilt withdrawal, it is real. I moved from WV to CA two weeks ago, and all my quilting stuff is still in boxes in the garage. I just want to quilt again.

My sympathies! I broke my elbow last winter (on ice) and know how painful it is! It helps to go into your sewing room a few times a day and breath deeply.
I do hope you heal quickly. I hear a broken elbow MIGHT just make you a better FMQ after it heals... didn't work for me, but maybe for you!!! :) |
I wish you a speedy recovery and......get rid of the rug.
