I'm so sorry you were hurt. Just think...they say when you use your non-dominant hand that you are exercising the other side of your brain- who knows what this might do for quilting creativity! It's still no fun....just trying to look at the bright side. We don't bounce back quite like we did when we were kids. I slipped in the mud with my Crocs on and went down like a TON of bricks! No fun....{{{{hugs to you}}}}!

Wishing you a speedy recovery. One day you will look back and remember the days you got to do nothing but sit and read. Take care.

re: Marty K
Why is it always your right one ? We are here to help. I will have lots of pics in few weeks which will give you a laugh. |
Ouch! Get well soon..will help to keep you entertained. I think you should keep wiggling your fingers if you can. Oh my goodness! If you lived nearby I would come get you and let you pet my stash, too.

Praying you have a speedy and complete recovery. In the meantime, we will do our best to keep you entertained.... and all those hours you have always wanted to spend looking at all the extra patterns, tutorials, etc.... now you can do that without feeling guilty about abandoning your needle and thread.
Hugs! |
Sit, recover and rejoice that soon you will be better than ever!

Sorry about your fall and all but now you won't have to feel guilty for spending so much time with your quilting friends online. Good comes from any and everthing, I think!DottienTX

Wishing you a fast recovery!
Hope you have a big stack of wonderful books to read, including quilt books and magazines. Maybe find some good old movies on TCM if you have cable. And of course as you mentioned, you can spend lots of time browsing our message board and maybe online free patterns etc for future reference. |
