Try using colored pencils on a grid of the pattern to see how it would look.

I am going to jump into the yes, crowd, and not because they are the "in" colors. I love the combination, with a cream to soften it, and always have.

Blues, brown and beige would be good. Moda has a new line this spring with many of these colors in it.

Sorry, I'm not a fan of baby blue and chocolate brown so I can't imagine any pattern would look good with those colors. I love the reds and pinky reds you've used. I would be delighted for you to prove me wrong!
