I think so. darkish brown and blue with ivory instead of white accents.
I think so. I've seen some cute brown/blue combos at the LQS.
Oh, yes! It would be great fun in chocolate and blue.
YES!!!
I think so.
yes it would - i love chocolate brown and blue together. one of my fav color combos. i also like pink and brown. anymore brown seems to be a favorite of mine because it goes with so much and does seem to make colors pop!
DITTO!
A friend did one for GD in teal's and brown's WOW!!!!
Oh yes,a nice combination. I'd use a dark brown and a medium blue and ivory, for lots of contrast. Please show us when you finish!
I don't see why not. You see blue and brown togther all the time any more. So go for it. :-)
Oh yes! Those colors are all the rave now. i don't think it could be wrong!
I didn't think of using ivory. That will soften it up alot. I don't have the fabric at home. I am stashless... I was going to order it tonight after I got some input
I also am going to try calligraphy with thread. It is a thank you for my aunt for helping me out alot. Any good very brief words you think I should put on the front? "Made with love" and "with love" were all I could think of. I could really use some ideas here too. |
Yep, I really like blue and brown together.
You could always make a couple of practice blocks...maybe reverse the colors to see which way you like best? Then use the extra block for a pot holder or a hot pad. Good luck..
Happy Stitchin' crafty_linda_b sittin & quiltin' on the Cal-Ore border |
Oh yes!!!
I think it would look great!!

I think it would look great with blue and brown.
I made a quilt (don't have pictures on this computer) with robin egg blue, chocolate brown, and a "natural muslin" color. It was a HUGE hit at the baby shower. |

i think blue and brown would be nice
Hi - your blue and brown would be beautiful but look at the picture of the quilt carefully and choose a light, medium and dark - for depth and for your beautiful prints to pop, you need good contrast - have fun choosing and sewing.
Yes they go together, Use lights and darks for contrast, so the X's and O's show up well.
I think you already have a winner chosen. Those are soft, loving colors. I think "Made with Love" is perfect, it covers it all.
I think it would be adoreable!
That would look FABULOUS! Blue and brown is one of my new favorite combinations.
For a baby, I would use light blue with a medium blue and light brown or dark tan
go for it thats a beautiful color combo
