Suzette316 has it right....depends on what you want to emphasize. I personally like the bottom one, which appears blue on my screen!

Both are nice but I prefer the warmth of #1.

I would do the #1. I would like the #2 if I don't see the #1. Lovely colors.

#2 is my favorit. with 1 the blues in the pinwheels look out of place to me since they are the only cool colours but with the cool background they look better and it pops the rest of the colours as well

Me I like the white. It makes the other fabrics stand out. I see most others like the yellow I guess it depends on the look you are going for.

#1 the white is to bright for this pattern and colors.
