No, mine wouldn't. I use alot of mine when I don't feel like shopping for more. Then when I do, I just replace. I wish I did have enough for the floor to cave in!!!!!

Wow, its a good thing my sewing room is the old garage, concrete floor. I just bought a truck load of fabric over the weekend. Seven large boxes of fabric came in and 2 went out. And a new to me quilt frame and a new to me sewing machine! Honey told me a few weeks ago "NO MORE FABRIC!" Boy did I show him! Couldn't pass up the deal $200 for all of it, yep $200.

Wow that house must have been in really bad shape structurally, it might be possible - but more likely the joists were already failing, rotted or damaged by termites etc
I have a one story on a conc slab so no worries there ... but my Closet shelves could give way someday !!

ROL! I don't DARE tell my DH about this!!!! That's really too bad for her!!! Mine won't cave in the floor, but I'm sure some shelves are about to go!!!!!!!!

I don't have to worry about that happening to me. My stash isn't that HUGE & I only have a one story house.

Now you all have me thinking, how would you explain that to an insurance company? I'm in a 3rd floor apartment of a 100 yr old building with old gas lines running thru out. Maybe I will keep this story between us my DH does not need to know, and my small stash can grow quietly
.

Too funny!!! I hope she had wonderful insurance coverage, because I think she certainly deserves on awesome sewing room!!!

I do not think there is a insurance policy that would cover fabric hoarding cave in. lol Thank goodness my stash...enough to supply a fabric store....LOL is on a slab. Not a brag.... just a sickness. LOL

My husband always tells me the house is going to cave in if I buy any more fabric, but till now did not believe it could happen. My sewing room is on our third level, so I guess I'd better be careful.

Can't help but laugh! For me it's all about equal distribution. I would love to see a photo though.
