A very good idea, I will start doing this when I post.

Great idea, because many times I PM someone to find out the info.

Geez ladies, gimme' a break!! I haven't even been able to successfully post a picture yet, but I'm still trying. LOL
I agree though, quilt captions would be helpful.

I agree. This is not the first time this was suggested. I guess it depends on whether or not you read the thread pertaining to this. Sure is helpful when they do though.

Has happened to me soooo many times. I put the necessary information in my narrative. I am not going to change it to be the caption of the photo. The question that I want to ask everyone who subsequently asks me for information I have provided (at least twice) is this: if this quilt was that interesting to you, why Wouldn't you read what the Quilt Maker wrote?

I totally agree. Grrr

I haven't figured out how to post a picture yet! Now remember, I'm a senior citizen and need baby steps.

I am guilty of not reading all the posts... by the time I have finished reading the 2nd page of comments about how beautiful the quilt is or what a clever idea someone has had, I am ready to write my own comment or move on. This topic alone has 5 pages...

Many of us do not use patterns and are free form quilters therefore there would be no pattern name to post and such.
