This is a great idea but I still think the person who did the original post could edit their first post to include the information. That way the people who only read the first post and don't wish to read all the comments, would be able to find the information easily. It's more work for the person posting so easier to include that information at the onset. I can believe that many would not want to presume that others might want their pattern's name and that could be why they don't initially include it. If someone doesn't want to share that information, they could put something such as "an original pattern that I'd rather not share" and then others could respect that too. I like to read the comments but realize that many don't have the time or the interest to do so.

Bambi, It seems that you are right and I am wrong! I just checked my post above and there was no way to modify it! Well, that might be something to ask for on the new board! Sorry!

What is this a dicatorship that we must do as others request or demand? I think not! Some folks like to post a "show and tell" and never go back to the topic so what, it's there right to do so. I like the idea of having easy access to the names of patterns and designers that the very talented members of this board use and I love having my socks knocked off by those who need no pattern to create such beauty! |

If I ever finish something again, I will try to apply the "golden rule" and post info of quilts as I wish others to do. :thumbup:
