What a relief. I thought you were going to say you came out with a sewing machine.

What was the problem again?

I don't think you have a problem, but I might be starting one with machines ;). I already have a couple and on the way home yesterday from a Tahoe/Reno trip, we stopped at 2 shops and I looked at several different machines, including a Singer 66 Redeye. However, I am getting more discerning and we were also pretty full, since part of the trip was a quilting retreat and I had my stuff with us.

Sounds like you & DH had a great time!! Is a motorbike same as a motorcycle?? Just wish I could get on one & go!!
|
oh caspharm...a 66 is the last singer I am looking for to add to my little vintage "herd" of singers and if I had found one of those on Sunday i would've carried it on my lap all the way home!! Old singers, (machines not vocalists) can get ridiculously pricey over here, everyone thinks they can make a fortune by selling nanna's old machine these days.
Yes hairquilt, motorbike/motorcycle...same thing. We have 3 BMW's. |
Sounds good to me. But then I'm always game if fabric might be found.
|
I was riding on my motor cycle here yesterday but only to go look at contract quilting job . The fabric I came home with belonged to the lady for whom I will make 2 quilts --blocks sewn by her mom. Oh my bike is an "auto cycle " called an auto moto in the USA . Has 2 wheels on back and the one in the front moves with the seat . No gears and easy to ride. Hubby has the Italian PIAGIO with 2 wheels in from and one on back. We enjoy them in summers only don't take south for winter.
today is a great temp day to go riding but I must quilt. |
Problem? What problem?
|
I say Way to go. Sounds like an enjoyable day all the way round. You go Girl
