haha, carrying one on my lap could pose a problem as I have been known to fall asleep when I am on the back...haven't fallen off .....yet.....

If you have hard bags, be careful what you put in there if the other person likes to keep unopened cans of pop in there.

We had a can explode and it ruined the other half's camera and a few other articles.

No fabric, but I did have a 50mm telescope in a water tight case in the bag. My camera was in my backpack.
