Chocolate. It's a given to have by your side.
Something to drink. Also a given to have that thirst quenched. Bare footing is acceptable. |
Thanks for all the input... my list just got longer :)
May go back to rule #1 |
1. If you see fabric you like buy it.
2. Pick a pattern to suit you, not too difficult. 3. Read the pattern through before you start. 4 Measure twice, cut once. 5. Enjoy. |
One golden rule for me.
Only give your work to someone who'll REALLY appreciate it. F x |

I have one rule....leave the boo boo alone. No one will every notice unless you tell them...don't!! ahahahahah
|
Label quilts (even if you keep them) with date, name of quilt who it is for.
when visiting a quilt store buy at least a fat quarter. Use the best fabrics you can afford Keep quilting a hobby doing it for money takes the fun and excitement out of the project. Tell people you give quilts to, to use them not save them, quilts are meant to be loved and used not "saved". I tell them if you wear it out I'll make you another one. |
"It's OK to stop doing the quilt you have to do in favor of one you want to do!"
Exactly!! |
#1...There are no quilt police
#2...There are no quilt police #3...There are no quilt police #4...There are no quilt police #5...If you like it, its perfect! |
I only have one. Quilting is fun, not my job so I can enjoy it.
