I have never used freezer paper, but would like to try it. What I use now is Avery Ink Jet T-Shirt Transfers. They work quite nicely.

I have found that if the material is too thick it will not work. I use a good grade cotton but not the really expensive ones. Tried those fabrics and have better luck with the middle of the road cost ones. I also cut the freezer/material combination 1/4 inch smaller than the size of the paper normally used in the printer. Keep trying, you will find what will work for you and your printer.
