Farmland Quilting in Greenville, IL sells "stable piecing" which does not need to be removed. Various log cabin options are available. http://farmlandquilting.net/stable-piecing/ A log cabin quilt is on my list of projects; I am looking forward to it. Good luck with yours and please post a photo!
