Speaking with my textile restorers hat on and seconding Ice Blossom - are you storing or displaying? All depends on what you want to do. If you are storing I recommend proper acid free conservation grade boxes and tissue. It isn't prohibitively expensive and there are plenty of YouTube videos on how to pack.

it looks nice right where it is. I would just add to rotate it twice a year to avoid the weight/stress of hanging on just one side.

Definitely contact the quilt center mentioned above. If you are going to store it I have read it is best to store them on a large dowel or something similar with the tissue, it prevents creases. They could give you display options too.
