I'll be going with my sister and she is considering a mid arm purchase.

Thanks!
I usually try to buy a machine that has a store in my area in case I need service. I have 3 different in the rural area where I live and I depend on them for my machines.

Once a machine has been used at a show--class or demo, it can't be sold as new, according to the local dealer where I purchased my Janome 8200 at a Quilt Show. I got a great deal late on the last day, last hour of the show. The store fairly close for servicing, and I went there to pick it up and get a class on how to use it.

I purchased my Sweet 16 at Road to California 5 years ago. Substantial savings and after the show the dealer delivered to my home, set it up, and gave me an hour lesson.
