For batiks, I like the a stained glass pattern or the over/under pattern. I didn't take a picture of the full quilt I did with that pattern, but it's the border on this panel quilt. These blocks were a little bigger than I like, but they can be made any size. If your interested, I will help you with the math.

Here's a pattern that inspired me this week. Would be beautiful in batiks! It makes 2 quilts, 51 X 51.

Those are great fabrics and look so nice together! I think they would look great in one of those woven looking patterns. I'm not sure of the actual name but I'm sure you could find that look on Pinterest and then narrow it down. I know I've seen several. Good luck.

I was thinking Bargello. It could possibly be quilted with wavy lines using a walking foot.

Thought same as QuiltRfun a Bargello. Stripes as you go quilting, but result would not be stunning. How about stain glass window with a black strip between the glass and slashing.

Bargello is what I was thinking also. And I like the idea of wavy quilting. With those fabrics it would be gorgeous.

Radiant Star, Mariner's Compass, or Storm at Sea are the three that came to mind for me

The Gemstone pattern would look awesome in those batiks. It is bigger than 50 x 50 but guaranteed not to be easy. It is so beautiful.

Beautiful. Batiks are my downfall when it comes to buying fabric.
I'm doing the same pattern as IrishRose2 is, without the centre block. I'm just getting into ruler quilting and it will leave me lots of areas to play in, but I also think it really sets off the beautiful colours and all-over patterns that batiks have.

Be sure to let us know what you've decided!

Well I have fallen in love with the Dragon Bones ... And it's something I've never seen before so it's the winner!

Thanks all!
