I just recently bought one from Clotilde. It was expensive, yes, and I'm too dumb to think to look elsewhere so I forked over the $$. I must say I love it and bought another for my chair at work. I spend all day sitting and interviewing or sitting and typing and my back was killing me. Much better since I purchased the cushion.

My sides and abs were sore for the first week that I used it but I have no problems now. It is sold in the exercise equipment area. The best part is it cost about $13-14!!!

Thanks for this VERY helpful reply! I'm going to check this out.

Wow, I was just considering one of these this week, sewing room and work - will have to do more research.

I have one & I feel it is a waste of money. It is very difficult to sit on, yes there is a correct side but I still find it difficult to stay on. I also have problems with my arms but mostly my back and thought this would help but it doesn't and I think they are expensive and a waste of money.

When this topic came up last yr. I bought 2 of them but found them extremely uncomfortable. I just recently started using one but turned it over to sit on the smooth side. (maybe I was doing it wrong?). I find it hard to balance on. Feels like I'm rolling around on it. Now I seem to be getting used to it. Can't tell if it helps but I'm giving it a try. Mine are blue though.

I'm so happy to read your words here. This is the exact problem I had. Actually hurt my bottom before becoming numb. That's when I decided to turn it over. I don't know why I thought the nubby side should be up. When I turned it over to sit on the smooth side the pain & numbness went away. I still wish it was larger since what I put on it is larger than the cushion. LOL

You could go out and pay $400+ for a Roho cushion Or how about getting some of that egg crate foam, and cut it to the size of the chair seat.... once you get used to it and decide to keep it, make a cute fabric cover for it. (you could shave the front edge down to a wedge shape)

Plenty of ladies in my guild have used the purple cushion and none of them liked it. I use a revolving padded seat cushion designed for the car. I love it, like having a swivel chair. Wonderful at retreats and classes. Here is a link to a similar one. Do a search and be sure to read the reviews. $15-40. (Get one with a removable washable cover.)
