I have successfully used Clorox to bleach the color out of color catcher sheets. (navy, burgundy, orange colors) Does anyone know if they work as well the second time? or third time?

if they come out with no or not much color, I do re-use them.

I am not sure if bleaching them white will really make them work again.

I do keep my ones that come out light and reuse them again. SOmetimes twice!

Color Catchers have a chemical in them that attracts the loose dyes. They're intended for one-time use, so I imagine the chemical doesn't last...probably on purpose so you have to keep buying them.

You can accomplish the same dye trapping with any untreated white cloth...terry cloth or PFD (prepared for dyeing) cotton works really well...and those CAN be bleached and re-used.
