Smile Question about Batting

I am hoping that someone on QB can help me. I usually always buy Warm & Natural batting (needled cotton batting) at our local fabric store but a Queen size runs approx. $80.00 & even at 1/2 price (which is the only time I buy it) it is still $40.00
I checked Connecting Threads website & I can get batting for much less than here in Canada. My only problem is they don't list Warm & Natural on their site & I don't know which batting on their site is comparable to W & N.
Can someone help me with this please & thank you.

Many people really like the Hobbs batting. I would suggest just buying a small one and trying it out. Connecting Threads is currently having a batting sale.

I searched yesterday and didn't see any W&N on their site either. Can you buy a roll? Marshallsdrygoods sell by the roll and it is cheaper.
Also I buy it a lot from Amazon. So far I get the best prices there:

I used to use Warm & Natural all the time, but decided to try the Hobbs 80/20 at Connecting Threads when it was on sale. I love it and haven't bought the Warm & Natural since. It's a little fluffier (not much, but a little), handles similar to the Warm & Natural. I like it because it drapes better and isn't so heavy on my feet.

You have me wondering how the price compares when you add in the shipping costs to Canada?
Just thinking ... big and bulky ... so likely bulky price!

Marshalls dry good ships to Canada so I think they should have better shipping rates than others.

I know that I ordered batting from CT once before (their wool batting) & I was quite pleased with the shipping charges. I believe it still was cheaper than our Canadian prices. It really isn't heavy so that shouldn't impact the price but you never know.

I just went on this site & they told me they won't ship to Canada. As soon as I put my address in, that message came up. I am going to try the amazon.ca site & see what happens.

Try Hancocks-Paducah, also.

I much prefer Hobbs 80/20 batting (which Connecting Threads sells) to Warm and Natural. They are different, though. WnN is needlepunched through scrim, which gives it so much stability you can machine quilt it 10" apart. Hobbs 80/20 is not needlepunched and does not have a scrim, so it has a max distance more like 6" apart. Aside from that, WnN is denser and heavier; 80/20 is lighter in weight with more loft. 80/20 is also softer and drapes better.

Most of the quilters in my quilt guild use Hobbs 80/20.
