After reading another thread here, I see that Connecting Threads has some clearance fabrics on for 2.48/yard (under clearance fabrics).

Have any of you bought this fabric? What is it like? (It's on page 11 of the clearance fabrics). They have some interesting designs. I keep looking for the "catch" as it seems too good to be true.

Most people seem satisfied with their orders from Connecting Threads. Does this include these cheaper fabrics?

I have ordered these......they are nice quality. I have purchased the same when they weren't on sale! Free shipping on orders over $50 - no problem here. I usually purchase at least 2 yards of anything I order. Though, I love the Cream Roots and have ordered as much as 4 at a time. The Quilters Candy seems to be my favorite selection now.....though I did see the latest collection....my oh my, oh my.

They are not cheaper fabrics. They are fabrics that they have to move in order to bring in more. I have a closet full of them and they are good quality.

I don't have a closet full, but I have ordered from them several times. I always check the clearance fabrics. Much better quality than most of JoAnn's quilting fabrics. Books are 40% off until the end of the month, I think. And, you can preview several of the pages.

I order from them all the time and always look for clearance fabrics first. They are the same fabric, just that they are clearing out to put in newer lines, etc. I have bought fabric from them at the reasonable low regular price and then found it in clearance months later. Never had a problem with the quality. Most of my stash is from them as most of my shopping is online since it is so far for me to drive to buy fabric. In fact, I have a shopping cart full with clearance fabric ready to order when I get paid.
