I have the 45mm cutter and don't seem to have any success with it. I took the blade out, the cutter is a decoration in my sewing room.

Thanks. I am trying the Martelli (got it for $15) because of my hand and arm problems and I had heard it helps some folks. I was just surprised about the claim on the package. I agree, don't think I could cut that many layers accurately.

I recently bought a 45 Martelli cutter. I love it so far. I've been fussy cutting a lot so I don't cut big stacks but in fussy cutting with an Olfa I tend to nick the corners of my rulers, dulling my blades. I haven't done that yet with the Martelli and my hand, wrist and arm are not tired. I agree with everyone else on the huge stack/accuracy issue. Just cuz you can, doesn't mean you should!
