This block, how do you make it right?
I consider myself to be good at piecing, getting things on point, all that. Here's the thing.

My problem is Florida. I've never tried to piece something that has twelve seams meeting in the center. Really? How do you do this with any accuracy?
I can't leave Florida out because I'm doing all 5 states. I think I have to accept it won't be as pretty as the other blocks and just go on.
Help?

I decided I had given too much time to trying to make this look good and took it apart and turned all the blocks backwards with the large blue triangle pointing inward. It's wrong, but it sewed together beautifully and it's still really pretty. spending more than half a day trying to make one block look right just seems wrong to me. Thank you for all your suggestions.
