Default Question about Mary Ellen's Best Press

I was doing some cleaning in my sewing are and found a gallon jug of Best Press. I know I bought it over 1 1/2 years ago. It had gotten tucked behind a tote and forgotten about. Does Best Press go bad?

I always buy it by the gallon and I never use the whole gallon within a year. Never had a problem with it. I store mine in a dark corner.

I've had some longer than that and it is fine.

I've had mine longer and it's fine. Just remember to shake well before each use.

Just the people to ask: What's the difference between Best Press and starch? I've only used it once, briefly, in a class.

Love Best Press! Thought it was basically an over-priced snobby starch - until I tried it myself and couldn't believe how much better it was than the stuff I was buying from the grocery store! I will never go back to ordinary starch - it is worth the price (although I buy/stock up when it goes on sale at Joanns or use a 50% off coupon).
