Here's the link to my favorite way to make the pillowcases.

I make them for size and comfort. When I buy a Queen set of bedding, I buy an extra King size because I want more "fall" on the sheet. Then I make King size pillow cases because I like them better than the Queen, and even King sized cases are far too small. Even the more expensive ones. So I make my own about 3 inches bigger each way, so that I can just shake it a little and the pillow falls into it. I don't like having to fold and force it down into the casing, it winds up tight like a sausage.

I made them for my grandkids because they do a lot of sleep overs and they always take their pillow with them. Thought it would be fun for them to have some that depicts what they really love to do. I bought the fabric, trim, etc and made them.

When my grandsons started preschool, I made pillow cases for every season and holiday. The teachers said they enjoyed the pillowcases as much as the kids did.

I love making these pillowcases. I make them according to the Missour Quilt Co. YouTube video. I just finished making Christmas themed pillowcases for my 2 GD and will put their Christmas presents in them for presentation!!

They are so quick and great to make as gifts for all sorts of occasions. Not to mention how versatile you can be in matching them up with store bought sheets.

I have made many using the Missouri Star method. Fast, fun, and easy. You can use cotton, flannel, satin, whatever you want as long as it is soft for your face to lie on and is washable.
I also have made them for the Million Pillowcase challenge. Great opportunity to help others.

Hi, I made quilts for my 3 grandsons and each is getting a pillowcase that matches the quilt. The tube method is the fastest and easiest method I have found. Have fun. They can be addicting, though. Merry Christmas and have a fun and wonderful New year!

The Grandkids love to come and see what nee pillow case they have. My one challange is that the youngest has a much smaller pillow that she refuses to give up, so the first couple were a bit of trial and error on th measurements. Now I have it down pat!
