Do any of you all use poly/cotton blends for quilting? The reason I'm asking is there's a woman who may be making a fabric donation to my Quilt of Valor group & she asked if I could use poly/cotton blends... I'm not sure if I have ever used them; at least not intentionally... What are they like? What kind of feel do they have?
Thanks :)
Thanks :)

I have used poly/cotton blends and I like them. They seem to hold up well. I use poly batting most of the time for these, but for one, I used and poly/cotton blend batting that I really liked. Most of my quilts from poly/cotton blends are whole cloth quilts.

I thought one of the QOV rules was that fabric had to be 100% cotton. I know they are picky and will return quilts to the makers if they don't like them.

Hi QD this quilt was polyester cotton with a polyester batting, I found it very easy to sew and quilt. I used polyester thread to sew the fabric, and cotton quilting thread to quilt. I would certainly use the poly/cotton again.
