I would use the Warm & Natural over the flannel sheet.

I use quilt-weight flannel for some of my quilts. Be sure to shrink it well before using it.

Really what parts of Florida don't use the AC all year? My husband and I are sick of all the rain in Oregon and thinking about moving to Florida :-). Which I have been to many times during the Fall, winter and Spring months I don't think I used the AC at night expect the one trip in April.

I live in the FL Keys. My most favorite lap quilt to use is the one I used Warm & Natural for the batting.

We don't use the AC from Dec to March. All the other months it's too humid and hot. The last couple of years I have been wishing for heat in Jan and Feb. It has been getting in the 50s a night. We have do not have a heater in the house. I know everyone who lives in the north wishes for the 50s in Jan and Feb. ;-) That's why we live here. :-)

I was born and raised in FL, live in SC now, and agree with this.

I live in Fl and we have A/C on almost yr round. I have a quilt on my bed yr round. Out of all the battings I have used, Warm and Natural seems the best for Fl. I did make 2 and used Quilters Dream (which is wonderful). Here in Fl usually it only gets real cold 2-3 wks out of the yr. Hope this has helped.

I am surprised to see people saying that they need a quilt when the AC is on as it can get cool. If it is too cool, why not turn the AC off!

Here too in South Louisiana, it is very hot and humid but we keep the a/c on most of the year and I use warm and natural with no problems. It can get pretty cold if you crank down the thermostat (although we only do that when we have company who requests it)

Southern Alabama and 23 years in Florida. I use a product I buy at Hancock Fabric called Grand Flannel. It is not like regular flannel, is 60" wide and nice to work with.
