A large wire file folder divider works well too.

I have also used a wooden drawer knife block too. I was not using the knife block anymore so why let it go to waste?

I have one and love it. I ordered it from Amazon.

A cheap alternative that I use is an old fashion letter rack. Mine sits on my table and I got it at a garage sale for a dollar.

bought a vertical file folder/organizer holder from a second hand store. It works perfectly and it was only a dollar or two. I can sort my rulers too! I've got one section for round, squares, specialty etc.... Having said that I also have a TON of rulers and most are really long. I keep them under my cutting table on a shelf... but for the others, I love my file organizer
