Does anyone remember a quilt that had 12 blocks and each block was specific for a month? (i.e. Jan-snowman, feb-heart etc.) I'm pretty sure I saw it somewhere but have to idea where.

Thanks for the help!

Quiltmaker magazine has a free pattern called Seasons and Celebrations that has mini paper pieced blocks that you can make into a calendar holder.

Flip it Bits brand has the cutest line of cross stitch patterns of the months. They are basicly the name of the month and a small emblem. They would make a darling center to a quilt block. My mother is getting the patterns for Christmas with that idea in mind. She likes to cross stitch and wants a cute wall hanging.

Good luck with your search!

Before I knew about this forum, I used to look for block-of-th-month sites. I remember one that was something like what you describe. I have no idea WHERE it was. Maybe you could check out the block of the month clubs. Hope this helps.

Here's an idea that cover all birthday months:

Also look into this site for Quilter's Dozen Plus pattern book:

Jackpot !! That's the Block of the Month I was referring to. (HGTV) I'd like to try that one.
