I usually get mine there, especially when on sale. Also consider wide muslin too.

I agree ...I use both Fabric.com and Thousands of bolts. I did get one inexpensive backing at Fabric .com that was a bit thin.

I always piece my backings from my stash. I sometimes look at some of the modern quilts for inspiration on how to piece them. It uses up some of my stash and looks really nice. This way I can buy more fabric as backs use up quit a bit of fabric:-)

I found it at Fabric.com so thanks to all of you for your suggestions. I made this quilt using Poems for Pebbles layer cakes and they had the backing to match one of the squares. It's going to look great!
