    For the batik swap, one of the blocks I did had a 6-1/2" (cut size) center square with framing strips 1-1/2" (cut size) and 2-1/2" cut size.

    For the other block I did a D9P with the squares 4-3/4" cut size. The feature fabric goes in the 4 outside corners of the original 9 patch block.

    Both sizes showed off the fabric really nicely.
