I have the original quilt cut and I love it. I bought mine years ago and have only had to replace the mat...it's the only ruler/mat I use...
Besides using the accuquilt.

Yes, I bought a new mat at a show, Just in case mine got worn out. I still have the new one. I don't know why they last so long?? But, I sure am not complaining!!
