as i read through this topic i was surpised to see that "hiding" entries is such a widespread practice. it seems like such an odd choice. :?
since space could be a legitimate concern, i wonder that none of them have ever thought to take an attractive photograph of each quilt. those that can't be hung in full view could be accompanied by that photograph.
not a perfect solution but much better than the alternatives i've read about here.

That's great, you can view the crafts easily, they have displayed the quilts that way in previous years at our fair. I'm not sure why they chose to change it so much, and if it was to try to save space then they could have limited the entries instead. Live & Learn

good heavens.who thinks folded quilts show anything! did they also that the canned food products in boxes? what a waste of time.i would have been very unhappy,also.next time i would look for a quilt show to display my quilt.it's very nice.
