Default Quilt pattern and on hand fabrics.

I have this pattern of ladies http://julieisa.blogspot.com/2011/08/quilt-answers.html
Miss Jump's "Those Are Not Weeds". love it but haven't made it yet. i have about 3 yds of some fabric with those old bicycles with the larger front wheel and some with covered wagons on it.
I have no idea when these ladies are supposed to be from. anyone else?? I may use the bicycles for the border and the wagons for backing. safe way. But still, i love them both...

They look like women who work in the fields...large hats and boots.
Hence the title. Very cute pattern BTW.

Sounds like a good plan to me. The ladies with hats are pretty generic, could be from any time frame. I think they are supposed to be gardeners from the comment about weeds which is below the picture.

Lol, I remember once when my mother ran out of the house shouting, 'Not the delphiniums!' as my well-meaning father pulled them up. The figures in the pattern are somehow very expressive; I guess well-meaning husbands pulling up non-weeds must be a pretty common phenomenon.

OK, I am dumb. I don't have bicycles on one fabric. I have spinning wheels!! or what ever they are called. Still cute print. anyway, just wanted to update this.

I think those fabrics are perfect for the pattern; do use them! The whole thing is darling!
