Can't see the nine patch in it (I guess that's why they call it "disappearing) but I found another really cool nine-patch that is called the DOUBLE disappearing nine patch. Could be SOME variation of that....google it and see what you think.

This isn't a nine-patch at all, but has been traced down to the Step-Down technique developed and taught by Sarah Fielke. It's a very original and IMHO very cool technique!
