If you do a search for 'free quilt patterns' you'll find lots and lots of them. Connecting threads also has some.

Many of the major fabric manufacturers have free patterns on their site. If you like the fabric from a certain line, check out their free pattern section. Just google the name of a fabric line, and the link will come up to go to their site.
