regarding educators- have had our share of those who have many opinions and no real knowledge. Even some who had kids who felt they knew best butbecause they were too busy having their career they didn't have time to notice their own kids. There is a huge diffence between girls and boys no matter how you sliice it and kids are not a one size fits all when you teach or parent.

Y'know, there's an old saying: Those who can, do. Those who can't, "join the quilt police"...apologies to the originator of this saying, but I like my version better!
I'm sorry you had to listen to all that bashing, but wow! what a comeback you made!

People generally tear other people down to raise themselves up. It doesn't work, it only makes them look foolish. Some people just have to try to make people think they are superior, the sad thing is that others less secure than yourself are deeply hurt by them. They are generally very miserable people and want others to be also. Good for you to show such class yet still not be a doormat.
