[quote=calla]Wow, yours are really nice, I have been wanting to make some, but yours are superior to anything I could make...........calla

Don't sell yourself short. These are the first cards I've made. It really isn't that hard. Once you've got a basic design, the zentangles MAKE the card...just doodle.

You can do it!

Thanks for the compliment!

My husband said to tell you that the artist trading cards are actually little quilts for leprechauns.
Great marketing tool for St. Patrick's Day!

I decided to make bookmarks. Here are the first two that are finished. I used one layer of poly batting heated between parchment paper, so it is really thin. Two layers seemed too heavy...more like Peltex. I quilted the top and batting, fused the back onto it, and then satin stitched the edge.

Templates for bookmarks - various sizes

I just read about making your own cording for fabric postcards and applying it to the edge. I haven't tried this, but I would like to do this on bookmarks.

Jane, your name sounds so familiar. Do you write for "Quilting Arts Magazine"? I love that magazine. While I'm not an art quilter, I get a lot of inspiration from it to go out & try something different.

No, I don't write for QA. There is another gal whose last name is Knapp who writes for them.
