There was a cream of potato soup mix which was great for people who don't cook to make soup hot water is added to a measured amount of mix. It was homemade cup a soup but better. that is all I can think of for now if i think of anything else i will post it.

Or how about Xmas stockings? There are some great tutorials online for those.
Placemats are always a hit here as well ... love those fabric placemats!
I'm also making tree skirts as gifts this year as well. There are several tutorials online. If you are interested in making them I can find the posts and links :)

I purchased the Quilting Arts Christmas magazine and the mug bucket pattern is in there as well as some other cool ideas. This special issue is 14.99 but I am going to make a bunch of things from it.
Also on my gift list are bookcovers and backpack style purse.
