Default Quilters Dream Cotton Quilt Batting

I intend to use Quilters Dream cotton quilt batting in a quilt. I have forgotten which way it is suppose to go dimples down or pimples up? Thanks for your help so I can get this quilt loaded on my frame.

I have seen this brought up before here and someone will surely give you the answer. But, just wanted to say that I have used Quilters Dream cotton in various thicknesses almost exclusive for my quilts and have never noticed which side was up or down. It always works very nicely. I love the feel of it and how it feels after quilting, too. For my current quilt I am useing QD wool for the first time and I like it, too. So my point is I don't think you can go wrong with it.

QD batting has no scrim, so I believe you can place it either way.

I usually just go with the smoothest side down. It has worked for me

On their web site there is a lot of info on their different batts. Perhaps an answer could be found there. I use their Dream Orient and I have never found a front or back.

Batts in general should have your needle follow the same path as the needles that put the cotton together. Some batts are hard to tell. Sometimes I punch a machine needle thru the batt and compare to holes already there.

I'm using dream request for the first time. And just looked this up today. What I found out it's needle punched. And the little holes go up towards top. Remember this is dream request.
