Default Quilters Dream Green Batting?

Has anyone used Quilters Dream Green Batting and if you have what do you think about it? I love the fact that it is recycled plastic bottles. But is it breathable, warm? Any information you can give me would be appreciated.

I have used it, but the quilt was a gift so I don't know how it would behave.

I use it in lots of small projects but have never used it in a quilt.

I used it in a quilt for a friend who is very much into recycling. The top was made from recycled men's shirts and the backing was a sheet, all from the salvation army. To complete the theme, I used the green batting. It's been several years, but as I recall, it was like a heavy craft felt, I don't remember any loft at all, so the quilting didn't show much. It's poly. I don't know of any poly that's breathable. He said it is warm, but they live in California so don't know how much warmth they are looking for. Personally, I wouldn't use it in a quilt again.

I have used Dream green in utility and ( drag around) kids quilts, first one over 10 years ago. The quilts hold up well to use, laundering, picnics, forts, play mats.... It is a nice batting to work with. No shrinkage, its like using polyester fleece for a batting without the stretching to deal with. Warm & holds up

I use it quite often and love it. It has a fairly low loft and stitches beautifully. I've recommended it to several new quilters at church and they seem to enjoy it as well.

If you want to try it, I wouldn't hesitate at all. They make the best batting at least that is my opinion.

Dream Green is my batting of choice. It's easy to quilt, very drapeable and lightweight. It is a low loft. The only problem I've found is the green shows through slightly on any whites.

I have used it several times and it has held up great and was easy to work with. Just don't use it if you have a lot of white or very light fabrics in your top as the green color will show through!
