Hello
This is my first time on Quilting Board. I have sewn for years, but am new to quilting. I love it! I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC during the summer and know no one here. The nearest quilt shop is 40 miles away, so I am thankful for any help I get through the internet. I have just finished my first quilt. I didn't do such a good job with the free motion quilting as I need more practice. I have a Sweet 16 and love it! Looking forward to hearing from you all!

I live in a small community (600 people) and a ways away from a large town, so this is sometimes all the human contact I get for a few days. I have me a mentor on the board now and have made a few friends. I really enjoy reading all the posts in every section here. I'm loving it!!!

I SO agree!! I look forward to checking this board several times thru the day..I have loved getting to be part of virtual quilting days, and know that I can get help or encouragement at any time I need..Thank you so much to all. Being disabled I can't get out to join any groups and no longer work. If it wasn't for all of you, I would be stir crazy and miserable with the way my life ended up. Now I can find positives in it all...and you are all part of that.
