I've also never had an issue. But I tend to make sure my measurements are right and often just use her pattern as an idea rather than a pattern. Because i want to strip piece as much as I can and her directions are truly just for one block.

Haven't had any problems here. Maybe use scraps to see if the patterns work that way you don't waste your good fabric if you do have to tweak the pattern. You could then save the sample blocks and sew together later for charity quilts.

I taught myself to quilt using her patterns. During the process I discovered my 1/4" foot wasn't really 1/4" without adjusting the needle. I also discovered that one of my rulers was no where near accurate so now I check any new ruler I purchase.
As someone else posted earlier, I now use her patterns more for ideas and do my own math and cutting methods when I make the blocks. Her cutting & piecing methods are definitely not the quickest way for me.
Which patterns specifically are you having trouble with? I'm sure someone can give you pointers.
