Your quilting is just amazing. I speak from a deep well of ignorance but it seems to me that cross hatching might be a different scale then what you have already done. That being said I have no suggestions for an alternative. Beautiful work!

Beautiful work! I'm sure you will finish it just as beautiful. Mimic the vine and leaves a little larger on the braid. Maybe interspersed with a flower now and then.
