I think I'd really like an AccuCut Go! with a collection of dies.

I kind of like that idea!! I just might do that and put a card on it from Santa!

I always ask for gift cards for JoAnn or Hobby Lobby. I always have to "tell" my DH what to get for me, so this year I told him I was just about out of "White Linen" by Estee Lauder....it's my favorite....so that's what he'll get me. A couple of years ago I got my quilting shed, so he's caught up on the quilty things for quite a few years!! Love that man!!

Our only gift routine is that we go to Kauai every 3rd Christmas with my Mom and sister. Those years we don't exchange any gifts now that the kids are older - I used to do stockings for them and small things so they'd have something to open. No tree, no decorating, no baking, just fun in the sun!

Other years if we need something for the house we will buy that for our gift to each other. Sometimes small gifts, it just depends. We are pretty laid back about gifts to each other I guess. DH is good at buying what he needs for his hobbies and I am too!

I do have my eye on a new machine with a bigger harp but we just had to buy a new mattress for our bed so that might have to wait. We are in the $$ college years now!

My DH will come home with surprises for me that really surprise. He is my best Christmas present every year. LOL He was bringing home a lot of Pampered Chef items and when I asked where are you getting this? Do you go to parties on your lunch hour? He said a co worker's wife sold the stuff and he told the guy to order something every few weeks for me, to help her out. The guy then told his wife to order something. Men with no clue are hilarious!

I'm just trying very hard to imagine what you could buy your DH in answer to that. How about some nice hemorrhoid ointment?!

All this is off topic, so let me end by saying it would be good if we all could read minds, but since most of us aren't very good at it, maybe if the loved ones ask for hints we should leave some quilt and fabric catalogs lying around with bright red circles around certain things and lots of dog ears, and encourage them to browse and mark catalogs that appeal to them, too.
LOL, on the other hand, I've aged 5 years in the last half year----------wrinkles really starting to show on this 65 year old face. I'd love some high end wrinkle cream. Got any suggestions as to brand??????????

You know, back when I was young, I always looked forward to the Sears & Roebuck catalog to decide what I wanted for Christmas. Too bad there's not a giant catalog for us now! They come in droves and might have ONE thing per catalog that even catch my attention.
