I'm in Tallahassee visiting my parents. My first full week of vacation in months and since we flew, no way to bring a big project along. I do have a hand piecing project, but of course would rather work on the nearly finished top at home.

Tried to augment my stash and found that the quilt store here is going out of business.

Cheers, K

Unfortunately it appears that way. The scrapbook store closed a few years ago, and now the local quilt stores are going the same way (the other one that I found online closed 2 years ago). There are two really good ones in the region - one in Panama City and one in Moultrie, GA both about 90 minutes away. Fortunately I don't really need anything.

Cheers, K

Sorry for your torture. :-( Enjoy your visit with your parents though. :-)

sorry you are having a withdrawl, maybe you can go to a pharmacy or Walmart and buy you some quilt books

also check out the used book stores for quilt books, have fun visiting with your parents and hope you are having great weather

You might also want to try Goodwill or the Salvation Army for books as well. I got some great books at Goodwill a couple weeks ago for about $3.00 apiece. They had over 60 books to look through..
But most of all enjoy your visit with your parents.
