Good morning ladies
I just ordered a Grace Start Right Frame and Juki 2000Q combo. I currently FMQ on a Juki 98TL but I use it table top. This will be my first time trying a frame. It hasn't arrived yet but what I found on the internet about mounting the quilt to the frame sounds complicated. I don't know anyone locally that uses a frame except the LQS and wondered if anyone had any pointers. I'm excited yet aprehensive waiting on it.

i'm not familiar with your frame. however, when i got my hinterberg frame, i had a difficult time remembering what goes where and in what direction. so when i made my leaders, i wrote right on them with a permanent marker. now it's easy to remember how they load. enjoy your new setup!

Thank you. Luckily this one comes with a set of leaders so I won't have to figure out hte making part but I will use your suggestion and write directly on them. This is a stock picture of the frame I ordered. Waiting on mine to come from Utah.

It looks very sturdy. Don't forget to mark the center of each header, the top and the bottom it helps a lot when they are marked. If you have to set the frame up yourself, having a second person to help you is a must. By all means read the instructions first before you start anything.

join the yahoo Grace Frame Group and do a search for your frame.
many people have a problem with the pins breaking when rolling the quilt forward on this specific frame.
they give you tips to try and avoid this problem and the contact number for Grace Frame to replace the parts.
