My favorites are the McCall's and American Quilter by Better Homes and Garden, I also enjoy Quiltmaker & Love of quilting. I'm going to let Quilters Newsletter and AQS lapse. I really have too many of them, but they are so worth the money to get me because then I'm inspired and motivated to get sewing!!

Love Primitive Quilts & Projects and McCalls. I quilt with a group on Wednesdays and we take Fons and Porter and Quiltmaker there. I think I will drop McCalls from time to time but then they come up with a magazine I can't live without. Our group shares magazines so if I am finished with an issue I take it there.

I like McCalls. That is the only one I take.

Quiltmakers 100 Blocks. It is pretty much the only magazine I buy a couple times a year. If I can find new and inspiring blocks. I can make a quilt. I pretty much stopped buying all the others. They are pretty much the same to me. Same patterns. Different fabrics. But, if you are new to quilting....They sure are inspiring. I hope you find the right one for you.

I buy at Sam's club when I find an issue that interests me.

I subscribe to McCall's, All People Quilt and now Block by MSQ. I find that I learn something from most issues, not all, of course. I prefer my magazines on paper. It's just more relaxing for me. I often read them in the morning while having my coffee and don't generally care for ebooks, etc. at that time of day. Good idea to ask for one for Christmas so you can explore and find which one suits you. I used to get Fons and Porter but then discovered they were not my style, as someone else said.

The only one I consistently like is Modern Quilts Unlimited. I also get The Block from Missouri Star, but thinking of dropping it.

I get McCalls Quick Quilts and I also get Block but am thinking of letting that one go. I know lots of people like the digital issues but I really like the paper version. I too check out the magazines on the newsstand and purchase the issue that has patterns that appeal to me not that I'll live long enough to make them all.

TQPM. It is very reasonably priced, has great content, patterns, group activities and freebies. You can download it and print off what you want.
