I have an online subscription to Quilter's World. I get an email when new issue is out and download it right to my computer. And when I got my subscription it let me download every issue back to February 2006. Love it, I can print copies of pattern and all appliques and templates right on my printer.

It seems whenever I buy a magazine at the store I LOVE more than one of the patterns, but when I subscribe to it there's never anything in it I want to make! Don't know why...?

I was getting so many. Finances are really tight so I have not renewed any this year. Hopefully it will force me to go through the ones I have and use ideas from them.

I love love my quiltmaker magazine. Although I buy most of the other ones, but only if there is at least 2-3 patterns that I like and could possibly make...With that said  I would have to live forever to make everything I liked.

I also pick up various magazines at the store, usually before I travel so I have something new for on the plane. There is so much available on the web now, it is almost silly to buy the magazines but I still like to have something in my hands instead of on the screen. --Linda--
You are so right, Linda. I had to subscribe to magazines all the while my great grand kids were in elementary school
so I always bought the quilting mags. I just recently subscribed to Fons and Porter Love of Quilting. Havent received first issue yet, hope I am not disappointed.

I really get some great ideas from the Quilting Arts mag. I have read all of the above ones mentioned and usually there is at least 2 patterns in each that I want to do. The purse patterns are good too. I probably have 50 patterns that I've downloaded since Jan.

I am a "keeper". I have collected so many patterns over the years that I know I will never make but I love to look at them and dream. I canceled all my subscriptions also because of all the ads and am now browsing thru my library of books. I now know the disadvantage of being my age. Boy, do you collect things.
