I have put together my double wedding ring quit all pinned and now I am freaking out. Because its a queen size and I just use ordinary machine scared I will mess it up.l Not used to making one so large. Just had to say it out loud. Should start in the middle work out right? Its wedding present so that adds to my anxiety.

With big quilts, I only worry about 1 quarter at a time. I do the top right hand quarter with the rest of the quilt supported on the left of my table. Once that quarter is done, I work on the bottom right quarter. I then rotate the quilt and do the top right 3 rd quarter and finally the bottom right quarter. You can do it!

What Tartan said. The only difference is that I try to keep as much of the quilt behind my machine as possible. So I orient the sandwich so only the working quarter is facing me (and the needle). Everything is behind and to the left of the machine.

I would SITD first to stabilize it. There is lots of patterns made to fit the DWR pieces. Once it's stabilized, it doesn't matter where you start.
Mark it before you make the sandwich. I'd start with practice fabric, to get some muscle memory. Then I'd start where it's easiest, that's the edge.

I start in the center, go to the top, go back to center and to the bottom. Start in the middle of the center and go to the right, turn quilt, go back to center and go to the left. I always quilt next to quilting. After the X is made I then do a quarter at a time.
