I use quilting thread to bind my quilt and sew it down by hand too. I like the feel of the thread it is stronger.

What a great idea. I have tons of hand quilting thread. I use to do more hand quilting than I do now. Thanks!

I have a lot of hand quilting thread I stopped using it a few years ago. My fingers don't allow my to do much hand sew.

I sew bindings on with machine. It is a better choice for the donation quilts I make. Much stronger and I use it for our bed too. Much faster also. I don't make show quilts.
